Escape the energy of Sydney for the tranquil beauty of the Blue Mountains. Discover secluded lookouts, hidden bush tracks and sweeping vistas far from the crowds, with the flexibility to tailor the pace - whether you prefer gentle sightseeing or a more active exploration. After a lunch of locally-sourced produce, journey west across the dramatic Great Dividing Range to the vibrant regional hub of Orange and check in to the Yallungah Boutique Hotel (or similar).
Enjoy an evening at leisure to immerse yourself in one of Australia’s most celebrated food and wine destinations, known for its acclaimed wine bars, award-winning restaurants and relaxed yet sophisticated dining scene. A curated list of dining recommendations can be provided.
After breakfast at your hotel, check out and depart for a scenic drive to Lake Canobolas, continuing to the summit of Mount Canobolas. This elevated landscape showcases cool-climate beauty, native flora and fauna, rich biodiversity and panoramic views across the region.
Arrive at Printhie Wines for an immersive, premium food and wine experience including a Sparkling Masterclass experience, Kitchen Garden tour and Chef’s Table degustation lunch with matched wines, hosted within the kitchen by the chefs (groups larger than two will enjoy a VIP table in the restaurant or by the fire in the wine bar, with regular chef interaction).
At the conclusion of the experience return to Sydney by road (arrive approximately 7pm) or take a commercial airline flight or helicopter charter, with time for an additional winery visit such as Swinging Bridge Wines. Alternatively, extend your stay and further explore Orange's renowned wineries, boutique shopping and scenic walking trails through this captivating cool-climate region.
