Our Hunter On High itinerary is based on our Ultimate Wine-tasting day, adding a spectacular afternoon heli flight back to Sydney, to cut the driving and help you end on a high.
To go all-out, select our Premium On High itinerary with return flights to and from the Hunter, paired with the ultimate high-end tasting experiences and matched degustation lunch.
In either case, your Bespoke guide will escort you between wineries, keeping everything flexible enough to allow for personalising to create a seamless day.

Hunter On High
The Hunter Valley is home to over 150 wineries, so we keep our time there a little flexible to add in tastings and experiences that might suit you. There’s plenty of other local produce to tempt – from beer, to olives, cheese, chocolate and more.
Step back in time at Tyrrells, exploring the original slab hut where the family first settled in 1858. The beautiful countryside here is also often frequented by kangaroos grazing in the paddocks.
Along with our premium, private tasting at Audrey Wilkinson, we’ll stop here to enjoy a picnic lunch in the beautiful grounds. Here you’ll find a collection of local produce, and a chance to enjoy a casual, relaxed lunch in the countryside.
Our tasting at Brokenwood Wines is enhanced by a tasting of matched canapés, prepared by the chef of the onsite The Wood restaurant.
At day’s end, a private, charter helicopter flight returns you to Sydney – a 45 minute flight with spectacular views over the northern waterways and Sydney Harbour.

Premium Hunter On High
We’re keeping the travel time to a minimum, with scenic return transfers to and from the Hunter Valley by helicopter. You’ll enjoy return private transfers from your hotel to the helibase in Sydney, while in the Hunter Valley you’ll be escorted to the wineries by your private guide in a luxury vehicle.
History and intimacy are the overriding feel during your visit to Tyrrells, where you’ll be escorted by a member of the family. This isn’t just a tasting – this is a look into a multi-generational passion for wine that has produced some of Australia’s most loved and respected wines.
Your incredible experience at Brokenwood Wines gives you insider access to some of Australia’s best wines. A four-course degustation lunch is the perfect excuse to relax and enjoy the pace, with incredible wines accompanying wonderful local produce. And then, there’s the Brokenwood Graveyard Shiraz… Enjoy!
