This is a special chance to get away from the city, but still within easy distance. Sydney’s northern beaches stretch up the coastline, with a string of sandy enclaves that are a fundamental part of the Sydney lifestyle.
Travel with us to explore the beach lifestyle, ending up in the national parklands of West Head, with stunning views over Pittwater and up the Hawkesbury River. Here, wildlife, birdlife, and Aboriginal culture await, with impressive rock engravings carved into the landscape.
Lunch in splendid seclusion at the waterfront Cottage Point Inn, surrounded by bush and water. After a long, lazy lunch, return to the city by seaplane, with spectacular late afternoon views of Sydney Harbour as you arrive.
Highlights & inspiration
In Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, we’ll explore Aboriginal culture with a look at the engravings, rock art and occupation shelters of the Garrigal people who called this area home. Continue on to West Head for spectacular views, and surround yourself with the abundant wildlife and birdlife of the area.
Lunch at the beautiful and secluded Cottage Point Inn, hidden amongst the bushland beside the extensive waterways of Broken Bay. Relax into a leisurely 5-course degustation lunch, perfect for the surrounds.
Following lunch, your seaplane will pull into the restaurant’s small wharf to collect you for your return to Sydney. This is a chance to see the exquisite views from above, as you fly over bushland, beaches and into that gorgeous harbour!
