So much of Sydney’s charm and vivacious personality is centred around her beautiful Harbour, so it’s a no-brainer to spend a day hopping on and off ferries, and using foot-power to explore. This day celebrates this to the fullest, with a casual day exploring Sydney as the locals do – by foot & ferry at our favourite haunts.

Start with a walking tour of the historic Rocks district, before heading down to the water’s edge at Circular Quay to jump on one of the ferries that criss-cross the Harbour. We’ll keep the day totally flexible, meaning it can be tailored to your interest. There’s plenty to choose from, from harbourside havens like Manly Beach and Watsons Bay, to family-friendly haunts like Darling Harbour, Taronga Zoo or Luna Park. For history buffs, the Quarantine Station by North Head is fascinating, while icons like the Opera House and Harbour Bridge are within easy access.
All-in-all, it’s a day that offers a lot of flexibility and fun, and an authentic opportunity to simply enjoy the Sydney lifestyle for its relaxed pace. Plenty of time to enjoy fish & chips by the beach, or a café lunch along the way. . . and there’s always time to fit in an ice cream!
